The Satin Clutch

“In all my years working at Vogue (six, to be specific) I haven’t acquired many clutches that are suitable for cocktail and formal occasions. I do have two beautiful vintage options, but my enormous smart phone doesn’t fit in anything. With that in mind, I was in dire need of a clutch that would work with my Met Gala look. I went looking at Vogue Shopping’s best clutch guide (yes, I shop our content, too!) and landed on Attersee’s satin cream option.” —Conçetta Ciarlo, beauty commerce writer

The Event Favorites

“Nothing makes me happier than springtime shopping! I picked up this little brown sundress and flip flops from Madewell which I know are going to carry me through summer. I fell deeply in love with this blue Liffner clutch and decided to buy it for myself as a gift for surviving the month of April (which, trust me, was a feat!) The White T-Shirt Restock

“There is a specific annual ritual where I repurchase my white T-shirts—largely because I never properly learned how to do laundry (possibly hereditary). Luckily, the Uniqlo oversized tees are incredibly forgiving—soft, durable, and somehow immune to my vague washing habits. They are also deeply, unapologetically boring—which, frankly, is exactly the point.” —Sache Taylor, director, special events

“After years of looking wrinkled (a.k.a not having the time or energy to pull out my industrial-level steamer), I gave up and gave in—to buying the Nori Press. So far, everything is going smoothly and the fabric of my vintage dresses has never looked more seamless.” —Margaux Anbouba, senior beauty & wellness editor

The Pre-Summer Packing List

“I found the perfect summer dress, and it’s this navy strapless midi from LA-based brand Anemos. It’s made from stretch linen—surprisingly not an oxymoron—so it’s lightweight and adaptable, and the navy color is great because it can either lean casual with wrap sandals and a gauzey pashmina or go formal with the right jewelry. I also love these oval sunglasses for an everyday pair, and Petite Plume’s new pointelle pajama collection is so comfortable. It’s already come with me on one trip, worn after a day on the beach whilst getting ready for dinner (to which I wore the aforementioned navy dress, by the way).” —Elly Leavitt, lifestyle editor, shopping

The Baseball Tees

“This has been a surprisingly reasonable month for me in terms of buying new clothes. I only pulled the trigger on these Cou Cou Intimates Raglan tees. I already own the Rina silhouette in just about every colorway—and have been loving the resurgence of baseball-style tees lately—so obviously I had to get my hands on its new sporty variation. I’ve been wearing them with jeans to go watch playoff games at the Canadian hockey bar, and with slip skirts and ballet flats otherwise. Don’t be surprised if the lilac colorway makes its way into next month’s Buyer’s Rejoice.” —Fred Sahai, associate commerce producer

The Redefined Essentials

“This month, I unexpectedly stumbled upon a sequin skirt by CFDA designer Janet Howard and I had to have it. I love how it sits low on my waist, and I’m determined to wear it all year round—sequins are not just for the holiday season! I also snagged a new Cuyana Zipper tote to add to my growing collection, and picked one up for my mom as an early Mother’s Day present, too (shhh, it’s a surprise!) They’re perfect for gifting, especially with the option to add a custom monogram.” —Alexandra Ditch, associate commerce producer

The Styling Heroes

“This Uniqlo T-shirt is an easy go-to for both work and the weekend—simple, comfortable, and really versatile. It pairs just as well with jeans as it does with a skirt (I’m wearing it with a black satin midi at my desk right now). I also picked up this turquoise pendant necklace for an upcoming vacation, but couldn’t wait to wear it. The Coachella Picks

“In April, I went to Coachella—and, true to form, left my outfit planning until the very last minute. Thankfully, FOUND became my one-stop shop, and I was able to pull together all my looks in a single go. Since this year’s event was a bit colder than usual, I opted for a layered long-sleeve tee that I loved so much I’m actually wearing it in the office as I write this—desert-to-desk pipeline! I also picked up a striped knit beanie that I’m completely obsessed with, along with camo cargo pants that are guaranteed to be a staple in my closet. I sized up to achieve that low-rise, oversized fit, and they turned out exactly how I wanted.” —Molly Barstein, associate manager, audience

“After years of wearing the wrong bra size, I finally tackled the errand that had been sitting on my to-do list for ages—and came home with this cute Fleur du Mal T-shirt bra. On that same outing, I picked up this jacket I’d been eyeing from Sézane. The Understated Handbag

“March is my birthday month and I’ve splurged on a few things... One special piece being The Row Marcel bag. It’s been a while since I purchased a new handbag for myself and I was drawn to the simplicity and timelessness of this style in dark brown leather. I wanted something I could carry everyday that felt both modern and understated, but not trendy. I didn’t want my next bag to be something that was instantly recognizable or a style that floods my Instagram feed either. An inquiring woman ran after me in Paris asking where it was from—consider it a success!” —Madeline Fass, fashion market director, Vogue Shopping

“I’ve been wearing Azeeza’s silk babydoll dress so much that she named a new version after me! I’ve layered it with silky sleeves for CFDA events, with mesh tees to the office, and with crystal tops for my birthday and for Vogue100 cocktails. Now that it’s warming up, the new Arden version in black is my perfect mini LBD for NYC walks!” —Arden Fanning Andrews, beauty editor at large

The Spring Layers

“There were a few days in mid-March where New York City hit 70 degrees fahrenheit, and something switched in my brain. Even though the cold has since returned, I am now fully in spring mode. I added dresses from Dôen and Leset to my wardrobe, and they’re the kinds of staples that I know I’ll turn to all throughout the warmer seasons. I also added a car coat by Leset into the mix—it’s a light layer for this confusing, in-between weather. Lastly, I added this cashmere sweater by All My Love, which I’ve been layering over dresses.” —Alexandra Ditch, associate commerce producer

The Traveler’s Shopping Haul

“This month, I got the last of my winter-y purchases in (I hope!), picking up this perfect grey cardigan from With Nothing Underneath, and my latest favorite pair of bootcut jeans, this time from Gap! I also travelled to Europe, and found out that this Easton Marley pouch is the perfect going out bag for a trip—it takes up absolutely no space in a suitcase, but is surprisingly roomy (bonus points for the cute tassel!). Another star in my vacation wardrobe was this Charlie Beads ‘90s bias mini skirt, which also folds up into almost nothing, and is an incredibly versatile piece. I’ve lost count on how many compliments I received, and can’t wait to wear it more in the spring. As for the shopping I did during my trip, most of it was second-hand, although I did pick up this bright teal linen shirt at Nuovo, a vintage shop in the Marais that also creates great basics of their own. And I obviously had to indulge in yet another pair of Repettos while in Paris.” —Fred Sahai, associate commerce producer

The Refreshed Basics

Brown bags are having a moment and I’m not mad about it. I recently picked up this dark brown clutch from Liffner and it’s the perfect addition to my current evening bag rotation. I was also on the hunt for some new basics and I haven’t stopped reaching for this tee from Elwood. The Spring Tops

“I have been doing some spring cleaning that has consequently lead me to some spring shopping! I picked up this top from Liberty on my recent trip back home to London, and it might just be the perfect little-black-going-out-top?! I had also been eyeing the beautiful striped Kallmeyer T-shirt, but came across this Cos version that scratched my stripe itch. The Shoes & Socks

“There is something incredibly demure and sexy about these shoes from Nou. I genuinely believe that Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield would have loved the design. I do, too—they look incredible with a fuzzy sweater, bullet bra, and tight pair of black pants.

I live on a plane—in a really unglamorous, long-distance-relationship sort of way. These socks save my legs from feeling weird, tingly, and bloated. Also, they’re much cuter than other ones I’ve found online, so I’m never embarrassed to flash my ankles with them on.” —Margaux Anbouba, senior beauty & wellness editor

The Mother-Daughter Wardrobes

“I’ve reached a point where buying something for myself without buying something for my baby feels almost… incorrect. She’s five months old, and already better dressed than I am. This month’s indulgence: a butter-yellow hand-smocked set from La Coqueta’s collaboration with Nicky Hilton. It has that perfect, heirloom-y sweetness—something you imagine being passed down, not outgrown—and I realized her wardrobe was severely lacking in yellow. A gap I’ve now filled.

Meanwhile, I’m deep in what can only be described as a matador phase. Tassels, braiding, frog closures—if it looks like it belongs in a Pedro Almodóvar film, I want it. I picked up a cropped bolero along these lines (mine is Mary McFadden, though this Oscar de la Renta version is dangerously good). It’s the kind of piece that does all the work for you—throw it on, and suddenly you have a point of view. And then, a bag for this strange, in-between season: not quite spring (in temperature!), not quite summer. I’ve been carrying a Polène Nano in textured burgundy—structured, unfussy, and just serious enough to balance out everything else I’m wearing.” —Lilah Ramzi, contributing editor

The Winter Neutrals

“In February, I officially hit the point of boredom with my winter wardrobe. The bitterly cold winter days meant that I was wearing the same things on repeat. My essentials needed a refresh, so I turned to With Nothing Underneath for cozy sweaters and Citizens of Humanity for soft denim. I’m still trying to stay warm, but it was time to mix it up! This alpaca fur hat by Susanna Chow has been keeping me warm, too, and I also love Margaux’s python kitten-heels (which I’ll be wearing with tights for the next month or two, at least!)” —Alexandra Ditch, associate commerce producer

The Trend-Forward Restock

“I did a fair bit of damage this February in an attempt to cure my winter outfit blues! Oddly enough, that meant getting a lot of slightly different versions of staples that I already own and love. I’ve been living in sweaters and jeans lately, so I purchased a high V-neck option from Everlane, which I’ve been wearing non-stop with Still Here’s Tomorrow jeans—a new top contender in my search for the perfect low-rise bootcut pair. A wilder addition to my closet was Réalisation’s Bianca top, because I can never get enough of leopard-print or going out tops. And speaking of leopard, I actually got this bright red Uniqlo scarf to wear with the leopard-print coat that I included in last month’s Buyer’s Rejoice. Finally, I ordered a pair of knit black pants from Gap to rotate in with my jeans, and a classic 90s pointy boot from Tony Bianco for when all of this snow melts!” —Fred Sahai, associate commerce producer

The Dependable Accessories

“Everyone from my boyfriend to my boss (yes, the Chloe Malle!) complimented me on these jeans when I wore them for the first time. There is something about the wash and the perfect low (but not too low) rise that makes you feel incredibly cool. Another highly complimented item from my colleagues are these earrings from HART. The classic bezel drop style means they are easy for everyday wear but the green shell gives them a fun twist that had everyone asking me about them. I also recently got these stunning suede loafers from Margaux that are making me yearn for warmer, dryer days so I can wear them around the city without fearing the black snow will ruin them! Finally, these clips from Skin by Ella Rose have really elevated my getting ready routine. Something about wearing these lovely little clips while I do my skincare and makeup in the morning makes me feel like I should be recording my very own Vogue Beauty Secrets episode!” —Florence O’Connor, associate content manager

The Statement Earrings

“I know we’re all obsessing over Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy at the moment, but one thing I can’t get behind is minimal jewelry—or worse, no jewelry at all. I’m fully in my more-is-more, jewelry-maxing era. My absolute favorite brand right now is DylanLex. Cofounder Drew Ginsburg is a stacking pro and constantly shares the chicest inspiration on their social media accounts. There isn’t a single piece I wouldn’t wear. That said, my two current hyper fixations are the Greer Earrings and the Fiona Earrings (and you don’t even need your ears pierced for the latter). I wore one to a rehearsal dinner and the other to a wedding recently, and I have never been asked about my jewelry more in my life. As much as I loved my dresses, I genuinely think I could’ve shown up in a burlap sack—the earrings were the star of the show.” —Molly Barstein, associate manager, audience

The Ultra-Hydrating Moisturizer

“It’s rare—truly rare—that a face cream keeps my skin hydrated for longer than an hour. I’ve tried more jars than I can count (beauty products seem to find me even though I’m not a beauty editor!), and most are promptly forgotten. But Elemis Pro-Collagen Anti-Aging Marine Cream SPF 30 has quietly earned a permanent spot on my shelf.

It’s rich but sinks in quickly, and my skin actually still feels hydrated by midafternoon. With SPF 30 and a lineup of marine ingredients meant to support firmness and moisture, it does a lot without feeling heavy or greasy. Most tellingly, it’s the rare moisturizer I’ll genuinely repurchase—which, for me, is saying something.” —Lilah Ramzi, contributing editor
