It’s been a buzzy weekend in New York City, where celebrities have been getting the party started ahead of the 2026 Met Gala. It’s also proved an opportunity to drop some hints about what they’ll be wearing. For Zoë Kravitz, something sheer and Saint Laurent, perhaps?
The newly-engaged actor and Met Gala Host Committee co-chair stepped out last night for Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala dinner, joined by the likes of Serena Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, and Nicole Kidman for the intimate occasion. Kravitz wore a full Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello look: a gold-threaded cardigan with a ’70s-style fur collar and cuffs over a yellow floral and see-through skirt, with perspex pumps from the fall 2026 show. For accessories, a suede flap clutch with the YSL logo in gold hardware, The Row’s Ella sunglasses, and of course, her Jessica McCormack engagement ring from Harry Styles. (A 9-carat diamond bezel-set on a thin yellow gold band, very much a trending style among cool girl brides-to-be.)
Last night’s look was very much in keeping with the more glamorous side of the Zoë Kravitz style spectrum. (She loves that Penny Lane-style of outerwear, whatever the occasion though.) She’s a Saint Laurent ambassador, and is co-chairing the committee alongside Vaccarello. It’s likely the two have schemed up something perfectly fitting for today’s “Fashion Is Art” dress code.
Across the city, too, other attendees gave some hints at what they might be wearing later today. Kendall Jenner, for one, headed out to party in a Thierry Mugler fall 1993 dress that skimmed her body and featured a super-high leg slit. Kim Kardashian, too, brought the body to Broadway in vintage Christian Dior.
More recently, Kravitz has been keeping things cool and low-key when out and about with her now fiance, Harry Styles. Often, the pair find themselves coordinating in straight-leg jeans, caps, and just about everything else from The Row. And it was just last week that Kravitz’s engagement ring made its debut while she and Styles grabbed coffee and matcha in London.
Today might see a few couples make their long anticipated Met Gala debut (paging Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet!), Kravitz and Styles among them.
