Here’s a quick trick to elevate your LBD: add 34 carats of Colombian emeralds.
While Marisa Abela attended the 2026 BAFTA Television Awards last night purely as a presenter, a jaw-dropping gem choker ensured she looked the part of a winner.
The Industry star hit the London awards show dressed in a black, figure-hugging, off-the-shoulder Prada dress. While that easily placed well within best dressed territory as is, the gargantuan emerald nestled in Abela’s clavicle took the look from sleek to spotlight-stealing.
The actor opted for a one-of-a-kind necklace—dubbed the Cleopatra collar—from British jeweler Henry & Henry. A 34-carat Colombian emerald as clear and green as a chlorinated swimming pool sat on an 18k yellow gold collar with a black rhodium finish. While Abela kept her hair down, the necklace is an artful endeavor from all angles: hanging from the back of the gold chain were two more emeralds.
While Abela clearly knew that the emerald collar was the star of the show, she didn’t shy away from rounding out her accessories. She added a pair of dainty silver hoop earrings, a black leather watch, and—of course—her most treasured piece of jewelry: her engagement ring.
